Sabum (Instructor) Roger Benites
V DAN ITF

Mr. Benites started training Taekwon-Do in 1987 under instruction of Masters Pak Hyok Chol and Choi Myong Zhing. He was a Cadet of the Peruvian Police Academy, reaching Black Belt after 2 years of very intensive training. He is a member of the first Black Belt promotion of Taekwon-Do ITF in Peru.
In 1994 he was promoted to III Dan ITF by The Father and Founder of Taekwon-Do General Choi Hong Hi and continued his training under Master Enrique Deacon. In 2005, he was promoted to IV Dan ITF under the supervision of Master Ruben Suarez, Senior Vice President of  ITF-USA and in DEC 2010 to V DAN ITF.
Mr. Benites has been teaching self defense and unarmed combat for several Police Special Operations courses in Peru and for Taekwon-Do since 1993. During his professional career, he reached many acomplishments. Sabum Roger Benites retired from oficial ITF competitions in 2005.
His last competition he competed in the New York Tournament in which he got First Place in Patterns and Third Place in Power Breaking, This tournament is the most important ITF competition in USA with competitors and teams from Europe, North, Central and South America.
He attended different International Taekwon-Do seminars and courses looking for ways to improve his technique and skills as practioner and instructor. Currently, he is an ITF International Umpire. Sabum Roger Benites is one of the key referees and judges in ITF tournaments throughout the United States and Center Referee at the ITF World Championships and World Cups. 

 

 

Sabum Vincent Jimenez
IV DAN ITF
Mr. Jimenez started training in Taekwon-Do in 1983 while in the US Navy, he studied Chong do kwan and Escrima for two years prior to separating for active duty. Mr Jimenez resumed his training in 1991 and obtained his I DAN in Taekwon-do on MAY 1994, he also began to train Japanese Ju Jitsu,obtained his II DAN on Taekwon-Do on Mar 1996 and I DAN in Ju Jitsu on DEC 1998. Mr Jimenez operated The United Martial Arts Academy from 1996 to 1999, in 2004 began to train with Master Suarez VII DAN at Queens TKD Center, in DEC 2006 tested for III DAN ITF. in 2008 Mr. Jimenez joined to The legacy Taekwon-Do Center and start training with Mr. Roger Benites V DAN ITF, in Dec 2010 he Obtained IV DAN ITF.
