Legacy Martial Arts  opened its doors in  2005 , our goal IS to contribute to the mental and physical development of the children and youth of our community in Woodside NY. Throughout the first  years of excellence  in teaching and guidance our reputation grew and more students were join us from our neighboring communities even from Manhattan and other counties.

Master Roger Benites is the Founder & Head Instructor of our school, he is a VII Degree Black Belt in TKD ITF, nominated as one of the best Taekwon-do ITF Instructors of the Tri-state area and one of the very few Center Referees that represent the USA in official worldwide competitions sanction by the International Taekwon-do Federation.

His excellent teaching skills and constant participation in International Instructors Courses and Seminars gives him the tools and the edge to guide his students not only as Martial Artists but also as very well rounded persons regardless their age.
